A Great Work
I was lucky enough to pick up Pierced by a Sword at World Youth Day 2002 and since then I have ordered and given out many copies. This book has helped deepen my faith and the faith of my friends and family. Thank you for this great book. You have written a great work with the help of the Holy Spirit and let's not forget our Blessed Mother!

Life Changing
I was introduced to these books by a friend. I could not put the first one down. By the middle of it, I was spoken to, and I became a Catholic after practicing Wicca for almost 14 years. I saw that all of the things going wrong in my life came from the decisions I had made to not follow the Lord. Since the decision to follow the Lord, my life has changed dramatically. Thank you!

WOW -- Shook my soul!
I need to re-read all three books so I can take notes on the parts that moved my heart (soul). The first time I had moments of knowing I should put it down and reflect but the plot kept me going. Now I want to re-read and digest the parts that really struck me. After I do this, I will pray on whom to pass these books onto. Thank you.

Layers of Love
Thank you Jesus. Conceived Without Sin changed my life. I am about ten pages from finishing Pierced by a Sword. All I can say is wow! I was up to 4am last night. I went to daily Mass this morning. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Bud for using your gift of storytelling to save souls. It's so easy to get caught up in the lies of the world and miss out on living the faith to the fullest. Each Book is a Moving Experience
I am finishing the third book in the series and cannot express my gratitude to Mr. Macfarlane. His characters and message have toucned me deeply and have led me back to an appreciation of my faith. I hope that he continues to write such novels.

Inspiring and Uplifting
I've read all three books. They are all incredible. Hopefully Bud writes many more. I especially like the male characters who are not afraid to practice their faith. Every Catholic gentleman should read them, so that they will know that it's OK to practice your faith in the "everyday" world.

I just completed "Conceived without Sin" and I want to thank you for these wonderful works. I had read "Pierced by a Sword" a while back and was very moved, but I had not ventured forward to the next book until recently.
