Satisfied My Restless Heart
"Pierced By A Sword" is an unbelievable story. I wish it was true. I am moved to tears everytime I open it.

I can identify with Buzz.
Having been divorced I can identify with Buzz the most. The visit with his resentful, snooty brat of a daughter, his financial problems due to child support and especially his loneliness. But, the stereotype of the alcoholic, wife beating and cheating husband is something that I live down every day. The family is under attack in America and the divorce industry like the abortion industry is built on lies that are these stereotypes. I am not much of a reader but I took this one with me everywhere until I finished it.

Entertaining Fiction Stimulating Marian Devotion
Pierced by a Sword is truly a terrific piece of fiction. Once I began, couldn't put it down. It added new texture to my life; brought me back to venerating Our Lady after casually ignoring her for 40 years. It was fun to read, stimulating and faith-enhancing. The author truly has a gift for fiction, marvelously unfolded in the Catholic tradition.

Amazing. Breath Taking. True love.
I am almost to the end of Pierced By A Sword and being a convert that is still learning of my faith I must say this book as opened my eyes. Things that I have never thought of now mean so much to me. I am ordering this book for a few of my friends in hopes that they will do the same. It is awesome! Praise Christ.

Life changing book!
I just finishesd Pierced by a Sword and absolutely loved it. In fact, I will be an official member of the MI as of Aug 22nd. I am sending a copy to my parents as they have never been married in the Church, and there are no longer any impediments. I hope it will make a difference to them.

On the journey to holiness
I read Conceived Without Sin over a year ago. At that time, I wish that I could have friends like those in the book. Then I started doing some of those things that the chararcters in the novel participated in frequently: going to daily mass, adoration, praying the rosary, and going to confession regularly. Guess what happened? I am now friends with many others who have a similar love for their Catholic faith. Thank you for helping me on my journey toward holiness, good friends, good books, and good conversations!

Excellent story telling, theologically accurate...
I was deeply moved by the novel, "Pierced by a Sword," which was given to me by my son for my 25th wedding anniversary. I especially enjoyed the descriptions of the Beatific Vision, the Warning, and all the supernatural events contained therein. I could feel God's grace flowing as I read it. It's very hard to put it down once you start reading. Thank you, son Jim, for giving me this book. Now it's on to "Conceived Without Sin." Can't wait!
