Your faith will be strengthened!
I first read Pierced by a Sword several years ago. It helped me through a tough time in my life when I was beginning to have serious faith issues. I only recently read the other 2 books and both of them were amazing. Based on sound teachings of the Church, the stories of how our faith can get us through are inspiring, life changing, and - as books should be - entertaining while also being enlightening. I wish there were even more in this series.

Wonderful novels
I thoroughly enjoyed Pierced by a Sword so much I requested the remaining 2 other books; Conceived Without Sin and House of Gold. I hope and pray that Mr Bud MacFarlane decides to author more novels.

GRACE!!!
Grace!!! Through Our Mother Mary and my mom, God led me to these books, which led me to a devotion to Mary and the Rosary, which led me to TAN Books, which led me to my wife and to discover ancient Catholic Tradition, which led me to the Catholic Mass, i.e. TLM, which has led me to TRUE devotion to Mary and my consecration to her to be a slave of Jesus through Mary. Amazing, Wonderful and Soul Saving
I first read Pierced by the Sword in 1999 and it changed my life. I identified with the characters in the book and became drawn to Maximillian Kolbe, from there I became a Knight of the Immaculata and consecrated myself to the Blessed Mother. My faith took off and the gifts from the Blessed Mother were amazing and the Graces from our Lord flowed in abundance. It is a faith changing book and warning of what is to come and what we need to prepare for.
