I'm not much of one to read fiction novels, but this book rocked! It is so great to read a Catholic novel with good Catholic values! It kept me up late at nights reading more and more!

Faithful, heart-wrenching beauty of Catholicism
I absolutely love all three of these books. I loaned them to a friend of mine who couldn't find them so I ordered more copies... They are worth reading again and again. I've given them to people and have been able to tell them that while these are fictional stories, there isn't anything in them that you can't believe as a Catholic! Thanks Bud for writing them! The beauty of our Faith is dripping in the pages of these books!

Provided answers to my ongoing struggle
I've been having an ongoing struggle in my heart for the past six months. I've always been Catholic, but I met a very convincing Pentecostal Minister at my work who was so concerned for my salvation, that I coudln't turn away. She was so close to convincing me that "Being a Christian, and not a Catholic" (even though we're all CHristians) is the way to be. I was very close to being convinced. However, neither her or any other mainstream Christians I met could convince me that THe Virgin Mary was not significant to the story of Christ. I knew in my heart that She was, but their convincing was undaunting. Over the CHristmas break, a good friend of mine, whom I attended World Youth Day with, gave me this book to read. I cried, laughed and experienced joy, just through reading the experiences of the characters in the story. It's as if my friend knew that I needed to read this book at this time in my life, when I had so many questions. THere are no more questions. I know that being Catholic is the best gift I could ever have, and I look forward to strengthening my faith in the years to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

awesome characters
very good book, not only from the catholic religious perspective but also it has the element of all great books and writers which is the characters. You really get to know them, love them and care for them. I am now midway through conceived without sin and it seems like an interesting, easy to read book too.

Excellent read while teaching faith
I love to read a good book, but often felt like it was a waste of my time if I wasn't learning more about the Catholic Faith. This book was excellent in that not only is it an amazing, well-written story, but I learned more about my faith and began to pray the rosary daily. I have now read all three books, and all are awesome.

I've read them all--and my husband, who's not Catholic, is *hooked* on them--I think the realistic characters, and the masculine devotion to Christ of Buzz and Nathan really got to him. Four star book
I read it once and I just couldn't wait till evening to get back in it. I am now reading it again to make sure I didn't miss anything and I am as excited as I was the first time.

Mel Gibson's Next Movie Project
I've read all three of Bud's awesome novels and I have one suggestion for what Mel Gibson's next movie project should be--a trilogy. Better start working on the screenplays!

Fantastic book
Wonderful book. As a 17 year old and an avid reader of many different types of books, I've never felt so connected with the characters of a story. I gave it to my girlfriend, a Methodist, but I assume she will enjoy it just the same. Now I'm starting on Conceived Without Sin and House of Gold will natually follow! Forgive others as God has forgiven you.
