Praying For Souls Most in Need
Volume XXIV, Number 23 – September 10, 2020
This week is about the prayer I humbly invite you and beg you to pray with me and your fellow CatholiCity Citizens.
Dear CatholiCity Citizen,
As you know, at his request, in late July Father John Anthony Boughton and CatholiCity began a project to "pin down the mantle of Our Lady" by offering Masses and permanently placing blessed blocks of exorcised holy salt at the four extreme corners of the contiguous United States asking God to grant the graces for a "Great Religious Awakening" before the election.
Without your spiritual and financial support, it simply would not have happened. We are grateful beyond words.
We were able to place your personal intentions on the altar at every Mass!
Repercussions Cause Slight DelayI have faced odd challenges in recent weeks. Spiritually, practically, and in terms of relationships. There have been, let's call them, personal repercussions that I believe are "payback" for the Mantle of Mary Masses. Someday I hope to share details. I have zero regrets.
Thus my photo-diary of our four trips to Washington State, California, Florida, and Maine, along with my thoughts on how the Great Awakening will manifest, will have to wait until next week.
I believe November will mark the beginning of one of the most difficult, violent, confusing, and disturbing periods in our nation's history, as strange as 2020 has already been. (Let's just call it a gut feeling.)
Let's take care of three brief items and then get to the prayer I composed, on the fly, for the people who need it the most: the souls in danger of hell.
Our Annual Saint Therese Novena MassesAs my personal gift, I have arranged for Masses be to offered at national shrines for each of our new Relic Prayer Medals.
Next week a novena of nine Masses will be offered at the national Saint Therese of Lisieux Shrine in Darien, Illinois, beginning on September 23rd and culminating on October 1st, her feast and my 58th birthday. I have "an in" with the Little Flower, so submit your intentions today.

Jesus himself showed Saint Faustina all the souls in hell who did not believe in hell during their time on earth. As Pope Leo XIII highlighted in his Saint Michael Exorcism Prayer, the evil one prowls about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
We know there are a great number people in our society who have not been baptized, who have never been taught to repent, who never pray, who are thus "functionally atheist", and who are almost completely ignorant of the real danger of hell at the hour of their deaths.
God loves each of these lost sinners beyond our human comprehension as much as He loves each of us (even as we are utterly obliged to resist their errors and evil deeds for the sake of justice).
No One Praying for ThemToday what is imprinted on my mind is this truth: so many of the lost have no one praying for them here on earth.
So please raise your mind and heart to heaven with tens of thousands of your fellow CatholiCity Citizens, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...
God the Father, please grant a Great Awakening
in response to the Masses we offered in July and August!
In our desperate cries for an immediate and unprecedented outpouring
of the Holy Spirit upon all of North America,
please look not upon our sloth, sinfulness, pride,
and constant self-indulgence, and instead,
we beg you, to accept Your Son in the Holy Sacrifice on the Altar
through which we make our plea.
May thy Divine Ear bend to hear the perfectly calibrated words
of our beloved Immaculate Mary
as she intercedes for America consecrated to her Immaculate Heart!
For Mexico, consecrated to Our Lady of Guadalupe!
For Canada, consecrated to the Blessed Mother's most chaste spouse,
Saint Joseph, Terror of Demons!
We cannot help but ask for this miraculous Divine Intervention
because of our love for our family, friends, neighbors, and towns,
yet we also plead with you for the souls of
the fallen away, the ignorant, the godless, and
the souls among us in our society who are in most need of Thy Mercy!
For their salvation we plead through the Blood of Jesus!
Grant these many souls the supernatural graces of conversion!
Speak to them in dreams and visions!
Send them signs they cannot deny or unsee!
Send them direct supernatural interventions
such as you gave to Saint Paul!
Grant these supernatural gifts and interventions
for the sake of their souls,
to prevent them from going to eternal damnation,
and for the all the good they may thus accomplish
for the Kingdom of God on earth after their conversions!
We pray especially for those we cannot reach or know in any practical
sense, oh we who are so limited in so many ways.
Father we beg you: Touch your holy fingertip
to the tops of every head in our homelands.
Smite the plans and deceptions of our enemies!
End the evil one's influence upon every person in America!
Bring forth the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
Show us, clearly and in ways we cannot misinterpret,
how to form the heel to crush the serpent!
For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Amen.
And Amen. Thank you. Please join me in praying a Divine Mercy Chaplet during the next day or so for the sake of the lost, fallen away, those who actively oppose God or His laws, and especially those who don't know Christians personally.
