The CatholiCity Message

New Year Mass For You!
Dear Catholicity Citizen,
Mary Christmas! (Get it?) Welcome to my final message of 2016 and by far the briefest. As you shall see, the New Year is HUGE around here. Let us change our lives through grace, shall we?
Fr. McCloskey Offering Mass For You on January 1
Our longtime spiritual advisor, Fr. John McCloskey, the "convert maker," is offering New Year's Day Mass just for you and all your fellow CatholiCity Citizens. As this is the Feast of Mary, Mother of God and a holy day of obligation, we can all receive Holy Communion together and remember each others' intentions. You know me: I advise Ask for Something Big!
Joining Our Amazing Prayer Warrior Group
For over two decades a hearty little army of CatholiCity Citizens has been receiving prayer intentions through our very very cool Ask For Prayers page. If you need grace and support for anything, great or small, this is the place to find solace. "Ask and you shall receive." Plus it is always consoling to receive a personal response from a real person who is praying for you.
If you want to become one of our wonderful prayer warriors, then sign up here.
CatholiCity 54-Day Novena Starts on New Years
The most powerful Rosary novena is the 54-Day Novena and CatholiCity has been sponsoring group 54-day novenas every year since The Dawn of the Internet. The next one begins on January 1st, so join us, will you? If you need help learning the Rosary, listen online or order our free CD. In addition to receiving powerful graces and often miraculous answers, the 54-Day is a great way to foster the habit of praying the daily Rosary.
Pour It On
Our annual appeal is still falling a wee bit (okay, a lot bit) short, so pour it on if you haven't participated yet. My sincerest thanks to everyone who has helped out so far. We need money to stay open and reach souls. You guys are the best!
Final 2016 Prayer Together
Please join me and tens of thousands of CatholiCity Citizens all over the world in praying to Our Lady. For an extra little bit of oomph, I suggest you allow the words "sinners" and "now" to sink in as we pray in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen.
