Dear CatholiCity Citizen,

Plenty of big items this week. Actually, well not really. Well, okay. Yes. No. Maybe. Yes. STOP IT. Whew.

1. WE'VE BEEN ROBBED
Our Director of Interactive Services has resigned from CatholiCity to take a great job with Key Bank. He'll be responsible for internal communications for Key's 25,000 employees nationwide. We're thrilled for him! In a real way, CatholiCity Citizens "trained" Dave, who beat out 25 other highly-qualified applicants. Our listmaster will move into the position as CatholiCity's interactive director. Unfortunately, the departure leaves a gaping hole in another part of our organization:

~~WE NEED A RECORDING TECHNICIAN ASAP~~
With more of the Internet going to audio, and the Mary Foundation expanding into a new, top-secret audio project this summer, we need to hire a full-time summer worker who knows computers and recording. If you know someone with recording studio experience and loves the the mission of the Mary Foundation, encourage him or her to send a cover letter and resume to us. Please, no phone calls. The pay is entry level, the hours can be long, but there is a definite possibility this job will expand into a permanent position that combines both studio work and CatholiCity work beyond this summer. It's a perfect job for a young person looking to gain experience while working in a fun, Catholic atmosphere.

There's an online poll by Time Magazine that is taking votes for the 20th Centuries Most Influencial People. Lots of Catholics are shocked that John Paul II is not even in the running.
