The CatholiCity Message
Volume II, Number 6 – February 13, 1998
Dear CatholiCity Citizen,
It's a slow news week here at CatholiCity, and it's impossible to tell a joke about our president suited for family audiences. Just two items:
1. PLEASE PRAY FOR US
Since December, the number of weekly visitors to CatholiCity has doubled. Your word-of-mouth is a big reason. Please make a personal commitment to pray for CatholiCity and its citizens every day, if you don't already do so. Only with your prayers will souls be saved through this cyber-adventure!
2. IF YOU HAVE A PERSONAL HOMEPAGE...
...you're going to love this. Next week, we'll show you where you can get a "CatholiCity Citizen" graphic button to display on your personal homepage. It's a design by our friend and Apple computer legend, Joe Vantaggi. In our humble opinion, it's really sharp, really cool, really fun.

We just received a copy of the classic "Book of Catholic Quotations." We bought it just for these CatholiCity Messages. Let's start with this one–nothing fancy, but good food for thought:
"Religion and art are older than agriculture and industry. In the beginning was the word, and man was a seer and an artist before he was a producer."
Christopher Dawson
Thanks for being a part of CatholiCity!
