Wonderful and faith filled!
I have now read all three of Bud's books and loved them all! As a cradle Catholic in my mid-thirties, my religious education left much to be desired. Overall a very good book that I am sharing with my friends and family. It helped me understand a lot and motivated me to research more about apparations and what we need to do to save the world! I wish the author would have refrained from having his pregnant character smoke and drink alcohol - even though this is fiction some people may think this is OK - especially from a book like this.

DON'T BOOKSHELF IT ... GIVE IT AWAY!!!!
It has been a few years since I first read Pierced, but I wanted to share some exciting news. I asked a young lady in my parish to read it, and it changed her life. Her mother thanks me everytime she sees me because her daughter has a new outlook on life. I will continue to encourage everyone I know to read this book. I have now shared this book with two students, one young adult and an uncle. Each one has passed it on to someone else. This book doesn't belong on a bookshelf, so give it away after you've read it.

This book may change your life!
I loved this book! Before I read this book I was a luke-warm Catholic. I don't ever want to be a luke-warm Catholic anymore. This book made me think about my relationship with the Blessed Virgin, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It made me feel I needed to increase my Catholic faith. I have recommended "Pierced By A Sword" to my family and friends. I would also like to recommend that everyone listen to all of the Mary Foundation tapes. I want to thank Bud Macfarlane Jr. and Bud Macfarlane Sr. for opening my heart, mind and soul to Mary and Jesus! I feel like a different person.
