Ahriman and Ormuzd

The modern Persian forms of Anro-Mainyus and Ahura Mazda, the Evil Spirit and the Good Spirit, respectively, of the Avestic or Zoroastrian religion of the Ancient Iranians and modern Parsees. (See AVESTA.)
